Floresta Bem Cuidada, Lda., a company in the forestry sector, recognized as an SME Excellence and SME Leader for several consecutive years, intends to hire a Forestry Works Technician (M/F) for the Burgos/Santander area (Spain).
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Planning and monitoring of vegetation management and treatment operations on electrical infrastructures.
- Coordination of field teams, ensuring compliance with work plans, safety regulations, and established deadlines.
- Risk assessment associated with vegetation along electricity transmission and distribution lines.
- Quality control of the interventions carried out and preparation of technical reports.
- Direct interaction with clients, landowners, and other entities involved in the works.
- Continuous monitoring of project execution and identification of areas for improvement.
What do we offer?
- Degree in Forest Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Forestry Engineering, or a related field.
- Good communication skills.
- Previous experience in vegetation management, forestry works, or technical fieldwork (preferred).
- Knowledge of GIS, cartographic interpretation, and use of digital management tools.
- Leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Driving license B and driving license T (preferred).
- Strong sense of responsibility, autonomy, and commitment to workplace safety.
